Cape Town plays host to the country's only and largest extreme sports lifestyle event, Old School Productions presents Ultimate X festival on Saturday 16 February 2013. The V&A Waterfront will be transformed into an extreme sporting paradise with death-defying stunts and daredevil twists performed by the kings and queens of extreme BMX, FMX, skate, and wake boarding in South Africa.
The festival, expects over 6000 extreme sports-loving spectators to attend the daylong event in the Mother City. Followed by an extreme concert at Cape Town's hottest nightclub The Dragon Room on Harrington Street with top local DJ's and bands playing into the night.
Some of the country's best riders in each discipline will compete for a piece of the R90 000 in cash prizes and the title of Ultimate X 2013 South African champion.
